Yu Clan Ancestral Hall in Yucun

The Yu Clan Ancestral Hall in Yucun is a Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Heritage Protection Unit.

The Yu Clan Ancestral Hall is located in Yucun, Suzhuang Town. Built during the Qing Dynasty, it is listed as part of the third batch of county-level cultural heritage protection units. The building faces east and comprises three parts: a stage, a hall, and a main chamber, with a courtyard in between and wing rooms on either side of the courtyard. The second bay has five sections, with a total width of 18.95 meters and an overall depth of 8.5 meters. Both the central and side bays feature five-rafter front-curved roofs, and the beams—both three-rafter and five-rafter—are supported by carved flat tray brackets holding up pillarlets, while the bracket arms are carved with lions playing with balls. The roof is of the flush-gable style.
