Overview and main features: The ancient road between Yinling Pass and Haoling Pass is situated in Yanglin Town, Kaihua County, Zhejiang Province, near the border between Zhejiang and Jiangxi, approximately 50 km from the county town. Historically, Kaihua established multiple passes; within the area of Yanglin Town alone, numerous strategic mountain passes—such as Baisha Pass, Xiaoguan Pass, Yinling Pass, Liling Pass, Lingtang Pass, Xieling Pass, and Xia Pass—were fortified with stone walls for surveillance and defense. Among them, Yinling Pass and Haoling Pass are currently the best-preserved remnants of these ancient fortifications. Yinling Pass and Haoling Pass are located in Xiavillage Village and Hailing Village respectively, and the two were historically connected. The pass relics along the Yanglin Ancient Trail hold significant value for the study of ancient military facilities and culture, and also serve as an exceptional forest ecological and cultural landscape for connecting with history, entering the woods, experiencing the outdoors, and enjoying forest bathing. The forest coverage along the trail corridor exceeds 85%, with dense woodlands and well-preserved ancient passes. Scenic spots along the trail include gun emplacements, the Red Army Cemetery, Yinling Pass, Haoling Pass, the ancient yew tree at Hailing, and lush forests. Currently, the sections from Xiavillage Village to the Red Army Cemetery, Yinling Pass, and from Hailing Village to Haoling Pass are under restoration, while other parts await repair.

Yanglin Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Kaihua County. Established as Yanglin Township in 1950, upgraded to a commune in 1958, reverted to township status in 1983, renamed Dongkeng Town in 1987, and changed back to Yanglin Town in 1992. Located in the southwestern part of the county, on the southern bank of Longshan Stream, 27.7 km from the county seat. It covers an area of 139 square km, with a population of 15,000. The Quzhou–Wuyuan Highway runs through the area. The town administers 20 village committees: Dongkengkou, Xiavillage, Hailing, Pingchuan, Shishan, Jiaokeng, Xinyuan, Yenanwu, Qiaotou, Yuntou, Jiaokengkou, Hecun, Bailin, Xiaguang, Gaofan, Yanglin, Youhao, Qingfeng, and Chuanan.
