Quzhou Humanities Museum

The Quzhou Humanities Museum is a project invested in and developed by Zhejiang Haosheng Group Co., Ltd., located in Jiuhua Township, Kecheng District, Quzhou City. The museum houses a variety of ancient pottery, jade artifacts, and folk furniture. Its Hundred Beds Gallery mainly features two Ming Dynasty beds, one early Qing Dynasty sandalwood bed, fifteen from the Qianlong era, and the rest dating from the Jiaqing, Daoguang to the Guangxu and Republican periods. Eighty percent are hardwood pieces, including rosewood and mahogany, with the remainder being camphor and other softwoods. The Ceramics Gallery displays over 200 pottery jars, ranging from the Western Zhou and Spring and Autumn periods to the Song and Yuan dynasties, among which the most precious is the stucco grain storage jar from the fifth year of the Xuanhe era in the Northern Song Dynasty. The Myriad Jade Hall houses approximately 10,000 jade pieces, all made of Hetian jade, featuring a wide variety and significant value. The Quzhou Humanities Museum is a relocated reconstruction of ancient buildings. The landscape greening employs traditional Chinese classical garden layout techniques, reflecting the solemnity of China’s long historical heritage and embodying the gentle charm of the Jiangnan water town.
