"Fragrant flower countryside, the legendary land of the broken chessboard, and the hometown of Wang Zhi" — the village of Jingxi in Shishi Township, Kecheng District, Quzhou, known as the Weiqi Valley, boasts a vast sea of flowers spanning over 20 acres that captivates visitors and makes them lose all sense of time, forgetting to return home. Nestled against the mountains, the village features houses arranged like chess pieces, creating the impression of a perfectly balanced game. At the heart of the village lies a Bagua field where flowers bloom year-round, forming a uniquely stunning floral landscape that attracts visitors from far and wide throughout the year.

Jingxi Village: 1) Natural Environmental Conditions

The entire village of Jingxi is surrounded by mountains, with verdant peaks and ridges. Nearby, you can see Lanke Mountain, and in the distance, you can view Shuimenjian, the highest peak in Quzhou (elevation 1,451.8 meters). The village’s greenery mainly consists of evergreen broadleaf forests and coniferous forests, along with economically valuable bamboo and chestnut trees that are characteristic of western Zhejiang. Residential houses are interspersed among the greenery, tucked away under the shade of trees. The village also features a water system environment made up of streams, paddy fields, and ponds, which is suitable for constructing corresponding water-themed landscapes. The overall village environment is exceptionally beautiful.
