Jiuhua Vernacular Architecture

The Jiuhua Vernacular Architecture is a Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The Jiuhua Vernacular Architecture is located in Jiuhua Township, Kecheng District, Quzhou City, dating from the Ming Dynasty to the Republic of China period.

It includes structures such as the Gukou Family Memorial Archway, the Zheng Clan Ancestral Hall Gate Tower, and the Fengdongshan Old House.

On January 7, 2011, it was designated as part of the Sixth Batch of Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Units.

Jiuhua Township: Jiuhua Township is situated in the northwest of Quzhou, 9.5 kilometers from the city center. Its jurisdiction borders Zhoujia and Yunxi townships of Qujiang District to the east, Wantian Township to the south, Shuangqiao Township of Qujiang District to the northeast, Shiliang to the west, and Qili to the northwest. The township covers an area of 82.32 square kilometers. It currently administers 35 administrative villages, 103 natural villages, 207 villager groups, 6,474 households, and a population of 20,938, with a population density of 255 people per square kilometer.
