Chonggao Bridge

Chonggao Bridge is a cultural heritage protection unit of Huzhou City.

Chonggao Bridge is located in Beigang Village, Jiuguan Town, Nanxun District, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is classified as an ancient architectural structure.

In November 2015, Chonggao Bridge was designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage protection site.

Beigang Village: Beigang Village is situated to the south of Jiuguan Town, bordering Zhuliang to the east, Siqiao to the north, and Zaiwang to the west. The village covers an area of 2.78 square kilometers, with 473 households and a total population of 1,727, spread across 13 natural villages. The village has a total of 1,377 mu of arable land, 280 mu of mulberry fields, over 280 mu of land under land transfer, and 440 mu dedicated to high-quality aquaculture. Paved roads extend to all natural villages within the village, and have been upgraded from gravel to asphalt. The tap water coverage rate and telephone access rate both reach 100%, and cable TV coverage is at 99%.
