In the sweltering heat of July, I couldn't stand the muggy weather in downtown Shanghai any longer, so I took two days off and went to the ancient town of Nanxun with my family to escape the heat. As luck would have it, we just happened to run into the filming of Season 2 of "Chef Nic." Though I wouldn’t call myself a die-hard fan, I’ve always had a soft spot for the “senior brother” William Chan. Since I played the clickbait card and actually managed to snap some photos, I might as well share them with you first.
