YaoDang Village in Nanjing is located in the hilly mountainous area of Gaochun County, in the western part of Yaxi Town, adjacent to Maoshan Village in Qiqiao Town. The village consists of 13 natural villages, 14 villager groups, with a total area of 6.5 square kilometers, 890 households, a population of 2,666, 2,222 acres of arable land, 1,870 acres of forested land, and 410 acres of water surface. YaoDang is one of the pilot villages for “Nanjing Green Natural Villages.”　

YaoDang Village currently features seven attractions: Yaochi Mountain Villa, Grape Base, Tea Base, Mushroom Base, Fishing Base, Water Recreation Area, and Early Bamboo Shoots Base. Among them, Yaochi Mountain Villa offers amenities such as a kilometer-long corridor, natural swimming pool, hands-on farming experiences, and a natural bamboo bar. To meet the needs of two-day trips, YaoDang Village has recently developed over ten agritourism households. These allow visitors to stay with local families, enjoy a farm-style meal, participate in a day’s farm work, experience the warmth of rural life, and fully appreciate the genuine charm of agricultural tourism.

Yaxi Subdistrict: Yaxi Town in Gaochun County is located in the eastern part of Gaochun County, Nanjing. It is one of Jiangsu Province’s emerging small towns, bordering Liyang to the east, situated 8 kilometers from Dianbu Town in Langxi, Anhui to the south, and adjacent to Lishui County to the north. The town covers a total area of 115 square kilometers with a population of 50,000.

Yaxi has a long history, with human activity dating back as early as three thousand years ago. The formation of Yaxi Town began in the late Chongzhen period of the Ming Dynasty. Its favorable geographical location made it a commercial hub at the intersection of two provinces and four counties.
