The Lakeside Peach Blossom Paradise Tourist Resort is situated in Yongshengwei, south of Gaochun County, spanning more than 1,600 acres, with two-thirds of the area covered by water. The resort offers expansive skies, level land, neatly arranged houses, a peaceful atmosphere, and fresh air. It includes fertile fields, picturesque ponds, intersecting pathways, peach and willow trees along the banks with red flowers and green leaves, fragrant lotus ponds, ponds teeming with fish and crabs, and a strong flavor of the water town. Since its development in 2000, it has built several conference and leisure venues such as the Suyuan Conference Center, the Zhongshan Hotel Lakeside Conference Center, the Peach Blossom Fish Village, the Lakeside Fishing Village, the Crab Culture Exhibition Hall, and the Tim Outdoor Adventure Base. It serves as a comprehensive leisure resort integrating sightseeing, conference training, fishing recreation, water entertainment, and agricultural participation. It is a national AA-level tourist attraction and was designated as a National Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Site in 2005. By crossing the iron suspension bridge and walking through the peach blossom forest, visitors can reach a long dike shaded by peach blossoms. To the east of the dike lies the rippling waters of Gucheng Lake, with Huashan and Xiushan mountains in the distance appearing like faint ink washes—truly a “paradise on earth.”

Lakeside Peach Blossom Paradise was built on the foundation of a United Nations “2814” project fish farm. The resort’s construction emphasizes leveraging the unique ecological resources of Yongshengwei, highlighting its distinctive aquatic features. The area is rich in premium and specialty products, including the country’s first certified organic crab farming base, and a 3,000-meter scenic belt for lotus and crab farming.
