Qiqiao Street: Qiqiao Town is situated in the northern part of Gaochun County, at the northern foot of You Mountain. As early as the Jiajing era of the Ming Dynasty, Qiqiao Town was already one of the seven market towns of Gaochun. According to the Kong family genealogy, in the De’you era of the Song Dynasty (1326), the 54th-generation descendant of the Kong family, Wenyu, settled here. Additionally, in the sixth year of the Kangxi reign (1667), the Kong Family Ancestral Hall was established by the Yansheng officials. This indicates that the Kong family has resided in this area for over 660 years. It took more than 300 years from their initial settlement to the construction of the ancestral hall, during which the population gradually increased, eventually forming a town.
