Yangjiang Town: Yangjiang Town is the western gateway of Gaochun County, Jiangsu Province, named after the Shuiyang River flowing through it. The Jinghu Bridge spans the Guanxi River and lies adjacent to Chunxi Town. The western part of the town borders Xuancheng City and Dangtu County of Anhui Province, giving it a unique geographical advantage. With a total area of 125 square kilometers, a population of over 80,000, more than 100,000 mu of arable land, and 54,600 mu of water surface, Yangjiang is the largest town in Gaochun. In 2002, the town achieved a gross domestic product of 460 million yuan, an increase of 16.3% over the previous year; the total industrial and agricultural output value was 976 million yuan, up 14.38% from the previous year.
