Liujialong Wanshou Stage

The Liujialong Wanshou Stage is a cultural relic protection unit of Jiangsu Province.

The Wanshou Stage is located to the west of Liujialong Village in Gucheng Town. Legend has it that it was originally built during the Yuan Dynasty as the front structure of the Cishan Shrine. The shrine no longer exists, but the stage remains. The current structure was built in the late Qing Dynasty, facing east with its back to the west, consisting of two stories with three bays in width, covering an area of 91 square meters, and topped with a flush gable roof. The side rooms are slightly lower, and the stage features a square caisson ceiling. The stage opening protrudes, with upturned corners at the front, and the eaves are adorned with cloud-patterned brackets. It holds certain value for understanding local architectural craftsmanship and folk customs.

On June 5, 2006, the Liujialong Wanshou Stage was designated as part of the sixth batch of cultural relic protection units of Jiangsu Province.
