Attraction Introduction

For several hundred meters along the railway, the thick woods have been shaped by passing trains into straight "walls." The branches and leaves from both sides almost meet overhead, and from a distance, it looks like a green tunnel, similar to the famous Ukrainian Love Tunnel.

This railway was used to transport pyrite ore. The entire railway starts at Guxiong Station near Banqiao in Nanjing and ends at the Yuntai Mountain Pyrite Mine in Nanjing, spanning approximately 40 kilometers. The "Love Tunnel" is just a small section of it.

Special Tips

1. This railway is still in use. Although it’s not used very frequently—only one or two trains pass per day—it’s important to note that the cargo trains are older models with longer braking distances. Please pay extra attention to safety when visiting.

2. There are two entrances to the railway. One is on Zhengfang Middle Road in Jiangning District. Entering from here requires walking for over an hour. The other entrance is on Yinxing Lake Avenue, where you can reach the Love Tunnel in just five minutes.
