From December 21 to 24, the "10th National Mountaineering and Outdoor Sports Clubs Annual Conference," hosted by the Mountaineering Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China and the Chinese Mountaineering Association, and organized by the Jiangsu Mountaineering and Outdoor Sports Association, was held in Jiangning District, Nanjing. Over 250 leaders from mountaineering and outdoor clubs across the country attended the conference.
The annual conference featured a rich agenda. On December 23, relevant departments of the Mountaineering Association introduced their 2012 work plans, and experts from the General Administration of Sport of China shared updates on the implementation of "high-risk sports projects." On December 24, multiple events were organized, including the selection of the "Top Ten National Outdoor Clubs," an exhibition of expansion activities by the new project department, speeches by exemplary clubs, and an outdoor industry summit forum.
Yan Jin’an, Deputy Director of the Mountaineering Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China and Vice Chairman of the Chinese Mountaineering Association, and Zhang Zhijian, Director of the Outdoor Department of the Mountaineering Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, along with other leaders, attended the conference and presented awards to the winning organizations and individuals.
On December 23, 2011, during the selection of the "Top Ten National Outdoor Clubs," ten outdoor clubs were awarded the title of "Top Ten National Outdoor Clubs," including Nanjing Xiangxinli Outdoor, Chongqing Zhongxing Outdoor, Wuhan Yangqi Outdoor, Wuhan Tianlong Outdoor, and Wuhan Baxiezhe Outdoor.
