Tangshan Ziqing Lake Tourist Area

Tangshan Ziqing Lake Tourist Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The Ziqing Lake Hot Spring Resort is located in Tangshan. It was invested in and built by Nanjing Zhongning Agricultural Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as "Zhongning Company"), covering a total area of over 3,000 acres with a total investment of several billion yuan. It is the largest large-scale industrial park in China that integrates the breeding, rearing, research, science education, eco-tourism, and hot spring leisure vacation of rare animals such as the Chinese alligator and the giant salamander. It is also a national AAAA-level tourist scenic area.

The construction of the Ziqing Lake Resort project began in November 2006. The infrastructure and supporting facilities of the resort have now been completed, including the construction of over 20,000 meters of new roads; a water storage area of over 500 acres with a water capacity of 900,000 cubic meters; and the planting of seedlings and lawns on over 500 acres. A 130,000-square-meter Chinese alligator breeding area has been built, along with a cave breeding area capable of housing 30,000 giant salamanders (scientific name: Andrias davidianus). Over 6,000 Chinese alligators are being bred here; the total building area (including those under construction) of various structures has reached over 60,000 square meters.

Within the resort, the Ziqing Lake Crocodile Park (featuring a 5D cinema, 3D art exhibitions, crocodile performance shows, etc.), forest hot springs, guest rooms and conference center, Ziqing Lake Club, and hot spring leisure vacation villas are already in operation. The design of the boutique hot spring resort hotel has been completed, and the overall framework of the resort has taken shape.

Dozens of hot spring pools of various shapes and functions are scattered across the mountainside, including waterfall pools, mineral salt and sand baths, stone slab baths, and fish therapy pools.

Transportation Routes

Tangshan is about 18 kilometers from downtown Nanjing and approximately a half-hour drive from Nanjing Lukou International Airport. Multiple high-grade highways, including the Shanghai-Nanjing, Nanjing-Hangzhou, and Tang-Tong expressways, form a multi-dimensional, intersecting, and highly accessible transportation network. Tangshan is one of the key hubs connecting Nanjing with cities such as Shanghai, Suzhou, Wuxi, and Changzhou, and has established a rapid transit network enabling travel to major southern Jiangsu cities within three hours.
