The Qing Dynasty Architectural Complex in Shécun is a cultural heritage site protected by Nanjing Municipality.

The Qing Dynasty Architectural Complex in Shécun is located in Shangfang Subdistrict, Jiangning District, dating back to the Qing Dynasty.

The Pan Family Residence is located 10 meters west of the ancestral hall and was built by Pan Hengcai. Facing south, the residence consists of three courtyards, each with three sections, totaling over 60 rooms, covering an area of approximately 750 square meters. The entire structure is rigorously organized, featuring three-section passageway-style high-walled compounds, with the westernmost house being the best preserved. Each gate tower features brick carvings and stone engravings, with the lintels inscribed in regular script with brick carvings such as “Heaven Bestows Purity” and “Blessings and Prosperity.” Although the complex is not large in scale, its interior carvings are exquisitely crafted, and the overall architecture exhibits the style of Huizhou-style buildings.

The Pan Family Ancestral Hall is located east of the Pan Family Residence, facing south with its back to the north, and features horse-head walls on the east and west sides. A pair of bluestone door knockers, each about 0.8 meters high, stands on either side of the main gate. The main structure consists of three rooms and two sections, covering an area of approximately 350 square meters. The beams in the entrance hall and the main hall are carved with floral patterns, and the main gate features elaborate brick carvings. This architectural group was renovated in the 10th year of the Republic of China (1921). The complex consists of the Pan Family Residence and the Pan Family Ancestral Hall. According to the *Pan Family Genealogy*, this group of buildings was initially constructed in the early years of the Shunzhi reign during the Qing Dynasty, and was subsequently remodeled multiple times.
