Yangtze River Fishing Culture Ecological Park

The Yangtze River Fishing Culture Ecological Park is located in Xingyang Village, Sanmao Subdistrict, Yangzhong. It is a tourism resort with ecological garden features, invested and developed by Jiangsu Chaoyang Lake Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. with an investment of 300 million yuan. The entire project covers an area of 2,000 acres and is a comprehensive new agricultural project that integrates the breeding, cultivation, sales, and science education display of precious fish species of the Yangtze River fishing culture, research on Yangtze River fishing culture, as well as agricultural sightseeing experiences, leisure tourism, and eco-culinary hotels. Leveraging Yangzhong’s cultural and resource advantages as the “Hometown of Chinese Pufferfish Cuisine” and the “First Island on the Yangtze River,” the park is striving to become the “No. 1 Fishing Culture Park in China.”

Currently, after 15 months of planning and construction, the first phase of the ecological park, with an investment exceeding 200 million yuan and covering an area of 800 acres, has been largely completed. It includes four functional areas: a smart greenhouse spanning 18,000 square meters, an ecological restaurant covering 12,000 square meters, the Chaoyang Lake ecological breeding area and the picking area, each spanning 150 acres, along with supporting leisure and amusement facilities. The Yangtze River Fishing Culture Exhibition Hall and a 400-acre health and wellness center are also scheduled to commence construction in the near future.
