Arrow Hole

Arrow Hole　　Arrow Hole is located on the southwest ridge of the main peak. With a height of a hundred zhang at its summit, it looks from afar like a sky bridge suspended in midair. Towering boulders stand on both sides, while the middle of the mountain wall is pierced through with a hole. Legend has it that this was formed when the mythical archer Houyi accidentally shot through the mountain while trying to shoot down the sun. ??There are many arrow holes here, and they are quite numerous. ??The stories behind them are also many, and their results vary. ??For example, some say ??, the commanding heights ??, and so on. ??Some stories claim that the red hole was called the "Red Command Post." ??Each arrow hole has its own uniquely interesting name, such as Crane Hole, Mandarin Duck Hole, Bee Hole, Tiger Hole, Immortal Hole, Soup Pot Hole, Elephant Trunk Hole, Pear Platform Hole, Tangerine Well Hole, Gourd Root Hole, Shell Hole, Merchant Leaf Hole, and so on. ??These holes are either distributed on steep cliffs or hidden in secluded valleys. Interestingly, most of the cave entrances are built with small nunneries, which were originally places where monks and nuns practiced in solitude under the dim light of a lamp. These caves played a significant role during both the War of Resistance against Japan and the Liberation War. In particular, the Immortal Peach Cave and Wild Cat Cave served as red strongholds for the anti-Japanese guerrilla forces at that time.
