Former Residence of Chen Zizheng

The Former Residence of Chen Zizheng is a cultural heritage protection unit of Hebei Province.

The Former Residence of Chen Zizheng was built in 1905 and is located in Lilin Village, Zangang Town, Xiongxian County, Baoding City. On October 20, 2008, it was designated as part of the fifth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units by the People's Government of Hebei Province.

Lilin Village: Lilin Village is located 10 kilometers west of Xiongxian County’s urban center and is traversed horizontally by the Xionggu Highway. It falls under the jurisdiction of Zangang Town, where the Former Residence of Chen Zizheng is situated. The village currently has a population of 1,010, with 330 households and 49 Party members (including 4 female Party members). It has 1 Party branch group, 2 Party subgroups, and 21 village representatives. The village covers 1,700 mu of arable land (including 1,000 mu of irrigated land), and has a total of 13 deep wells used for farmland irrigation, as well as 1 tap water well that supplies drinking water to the entire village. The main economic activity is agriculture. To the south lies the northern embankment of the flood diversion channel, giving the village a very favorable geographical location.
