Located in the southern part of the Luoma Lake Lakeside Belt-shaped Wetland Park, Roman Garden is adjacent to the Harbor of Refuge to the west, stretches to the Lakeside Boulevard to the east, reaches the South Dike of Luoma Lake to the south, and connects to the Recreation Center and Bar Street to the north. Covering an area of 36.24 hectares with a total investment of approximately 70 million yuan.

The name "Roman Garden" is derived from the English word "romantic," symbolizing romance and passion. As the name suggests, Roman Garden is an exhibition garden themed around love. With romance as its main thread and ecology as a secondary theme, it has been planned and constructed according to a spatial layout of “one dike, two axes, and three zones,” becoming an important tourism hub that connects the central urban area with the hinterland of the Lakeside New District.

Shore of Bliss Rippling lake water, spreading cattails, and fresh floral scents... Strolling hand-in-hand with your loved one along this lakeside boardwalk, you can savor the tranquility and peace. In a fleeting moment, you may come to understand the true essence of happiness. Hence, this wooden boardwalk is also affectionately nicknamed the "Shore of Bliss."

Misty Rain Embankment The concept of Misty Rain Embankment is inspired by a line from the Book of Songs · Minor Odes · Plucking the Weed: “When I left here, willows shed tear. I come back now, snow bends the bough.” As visitors walk along the long dike, surrounded by misty vapors, the distant mountains resemble an ink-wash painting, while the vast lake surface is crystal clear. Walking along this embankment often evokes memories—perhaps a chance encounter or a long-awaited reunion. There may even be quiet hopes and daydreams...

Roman Bridge The harp is a type of Western court instrument, known for its pure and melodious sound, reminiscent of the beautiful harmonies produced by springs bubbling under moonlight. The 21 cables on the bridge serve a mechanical function by helping to lift the bridge deck, while aesthetically they resemble the strings of a harp, giving the bridge a new sense of life. Seeing it, one can almost hear the heavenly music played by the wind brushing against the strings over the lake.

Concentric Circle Sculpture The Concentric Circle Sculpture symbolizes loving couples who share the same heart and mind, holding hands and embracing each other to face life’s storms together.

The vibrant and colorful roses, with their beautiful forms and distinctive scents, highlight the theme of Roman Garden. As many know, roses symbolize beautiful and pure love. Different colors and numbers of roses carry different meanings. For instance, red roses signify love, pink roses represent care, white roses stand for pure friendship, purple roses denote endless longing, one rose means “you are the only one in my heart,” two roses mean “it’s just the two of us in this world,” three roses mean “I love you,” nine roses represent longevity, and what about 999 roses? They signify “love you forever and ever!”
