Wuxu Martyrs' Cemetery is a classic red tourism destination.

The Battle of Renhexu during the SuiBei Campaign took place in the area now known as Wuxu Village from December 18–19, 1946. The Battle of Renhexu was a significant engagement in the SuiBei Campaign and also one of the larger-scale encirclement and annihilation battles in the early phase of the Liberation War. The battle resulted in the annihilation of the headquarters of the enemy’s reorganized 69th Division, with its Lieutenant General commander Dai Zhiqi forced to commit suicide, Lieutenant General Deputy Commander Yao Shaowei and Major General Chief of Staff Zhang Dongyi captured. A total of over 3,000 enemy troops were killed, wounded, or captured, along with the seizure of a large amount of weaponry. Commander Chen Yi left behind the inspiring poem: “When the enemy reaches the curves of the Canal, why doubt their annihilation? Behold, at the foot of Fengshan, Dai Zhiqi is buried.” After liberation, the county government established Wuxu Martyrs' Cemetery. In 2001, party members from across the town donated funds to renovate the cemetery, turning it into a base for revolutionary tradition education.
