Located in Jiantou Township, Hushan New City District, after Han Yujian sacrificed her life in 1983, the People’s Government of Suyu County decided to build a “Han Yujian Cemetery” at the site of her death. The Communist Youth League Suyu County Committee, the County Education Bureau, and the Communist Youth League Huaiyin Municipal Committee successively honored her with the titles of “Outstanding Young Pioneer,” “Model Three-Good Student,” and “Heroic Youth.” The Communist Youth League Jiangsu Provincial Committee and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China respectively awarded her the titles of “Heroic Youth” and “Self-Sacrificing Little Hero.” The Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China posthumously recognized her as a revolutionary martyr.
