Jiangsu Canal Culture City

The Canal Culture City is located in an enclosed area north of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, east of Tonghu Avenue Bridge, south of Tonghu Avenue and Hehuan Road, and west of Ziwei Avenue and Development Avenue Bridge. Covering an area of approximately 11 square kilometers, with a planned total investment of 18 billion yuan, it is the largest single cultural industry project in our city. Relying on the natural scenery of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal and Luoma Lake, the project gathers the ancient culture of the canal and creates new canal culture. It takes film and television culture and the creative industry as the leading sectors to build a dreamy canal water city. Major constructions include the World Canal Culture Expo Park, China Canal Culture Expo Park, European-style Canal Town, Canal Jinling, Sports Center, Convention and Exhibition Center, Canal Cultural Creative Park, Suqian Radio and Television Building, Suqian Zhongwu International School, Education and Research Center, Canal New World Business Office Area, Luoma Lake Scenic Belt, and over 20 other projects. Once fully completed, it will become a cultural, tourism, and leisure center themed around canal culture, which will greatly enhance the visibility and influence of Hubin New City, and promote a leap in Suqian’s urban image, functionality, and quality.
