Yandu Park

Yandu Park is situated south of Qingnian Road, east of Renmin Road, north of Dongjin Road, and west of Binhe Road. With a total area of 1,129 mu, including a 210-mu lake, 6 km of water channels, 23 km of embankments, and 35 km of inner and outer ring roads and pathways, it is a large-scale ecological park. The park is characterized by its vast expanses of lakes, lawns, and forests, with water bodies accounting for over 30% of the total area, making it a major water-themed cultural park. It features water attractions and facilities such as Stone Gate Wave Walking, Fountain Theater, Lake Cruising, Azure Water Maze, Winding Stream Poetry, Wetland Wilderness, Crane Dance and Zither Melody, and Water Play Garden. Ecological landscapes such as Yandu Hundred Flowers, Golden Millet Garden, Crabapple Garden, Oasis Qionglin, Dense Forest Oxygen Bar, and Fan Embankment Misty Willows are distributed around the lake, along the protective riverbanks, and on the lake’s islets, reflecting the concept of “green foundation with water soul” and the organic integration of humans and nature. The park has 43 bridges, including 35 transportation bridges and 8 amusement bridges. These bridges feature unique designs and individual charm, creating a distinctive bridge expo garden. The park encompasses over 30 scenic spots, with the musical fountain capable of jetting water over 50 meters high; the tallest tree in the park stands 50 meters high with a diameter at breast height of approximately 108 cm; the largest rock weighs over 250 tons.
