Visiting Guide

It is recommended to stay within the scenic area to experience a full day immersed in its surroundings. Stroll in the morning mist of Yanhuacheng, and try a piece of Grandma’s handmade Xiaoyao Cake, infused with the fragrant air. Maoyan Public Inn offers Chinese breakfast and is also a great choice. After breakfast, slowly make your way to Zhenlei Square by Baiyun Lake to enjoy the “Morning Bell and Evening Drum” performance, experiencing local folk performances. Here, you can also see the Xi Quan Pavilion emerging faintly through the mist, like a scene from a fairyland. This pavilion is dedicated to the patron deities of various trades, making it a suitable spot for gold-leafing and hanging wish plaques for sincere blessings. After praying, visit Zhidao Workshop to experience ancient Chinese culture—an educational and entertaining experience ideal for children.

The Demon-Subduing Palace is a traditional Chinese haunted house—brave visitors can give it a try. The Changzhou Three Treasures exhibition showcases intangible cultural heritage from Jiangnan while focusing on interactive experiences for visitors, especially the pottery-making area where you can create personalized utensils such as cups, vases, and tea sets. Along the way, there are over 20 cultural exhibition halls, offering a comprehensive museum experience.
