The first 2017 New Year Flower Goddess Temple Fair, jointly organized by Huagu Qiyuan and Jiangsu Variety Show, has concluded successfully after six days of great popularity.
On the opening day of the Huagu Qiyuan New Year Flower Goddess Temple Fair, visitor numbers exceeded 15,000, making it a new tourism landmark in Maoshan. This year’s fair showcased the Flower Goddess Garden, Dutch Garden, Scenic Flower Sea, Kitchen Garden, and Music Garden, along with a romantic sea of flowers spanning 20,000 square meters. There were also parades of immortals, blessings from the God of Wealth, and a variety of local delicacies from across the country. In addition, Jiangsu Variety Show brought colorful performances including lion dances, dragon dances, martial arts, face-changing, and diabolo spinning. While meeting visitors’ needs for fun, entertainment, sightseeing, shopping, and leisure, the event celebrated a joyful New Year together with 69,000 visitors.
As a cultural feast for the New Year holiday, the fair allowed many visitors to not only fully savor the essence of the “New Year” but also enjoy the pleasure of being surrounded by blooming flowers.
