The China Table Tennis Tongzhou Training Base is located on Kaisha Island in Wujie Town, an island in the river within Tongzhou District, neighboring the Huaneng Ecological Park. The base was jointly invested in and constructed by the Table Tennis and Badminton Center of the General Administration of Sport of China and the People's Government of Tongzhou District. It is a top-tier professional table tennis training base in China, integrating multiple functions such as closed training for the national table tennis team, table tennis research, reserve talent development, and the hosting of domestic and international competitions.

Covering an area of 180,000 square meters with a construction area of 33,000 square meters, the base was built with an investment of 120 million yuan. Its architectural style is modern and innovative, with a rational layout. The three main structures are connected by an arc symbolizing the trajectory of a table tennis ball—interlinked yet individually distinct—blending indoor and outdoor architectural spaces with the landscape to create an ecologically friendly, healthy, orderly, and dynamic external environment.

The base is functionally economical and scientifically designed, with thoughtful details. The main training hall spans over 7,700 square meters and can accommodate 48 table tennis tables arranged to international competition standards. The second floor of the main hall is equipped with movable stands, which can seat over 1,000 spectators. The auxiliary hall covers an area of more than 5,000 square meters. The connecting level between the main and auxiliary halls houses various functional rooms including research labs, gyms, showers, physiotherapy rooms, massage rooms, and VIP reception areas. The hotel covers an area of over 6,000 square meters, featuring 47 standard guest rooms and 6 suites. Inside the hotel, there are multiple functional spaces such as a multi-purpose hall, e-learning room, conference rooms, library, sauna, KTV room, chess and card room, billiards room, and beauty salon. The hotel restaurant includes 9 private dining rooms and a large dining hall that can accommodate over 200 people at once.
