Sanmen Sluice

Sanmen Sluice is a cultural heritage site protected at the municipal level by Nantong City.

Sanmen Sluice is located on the Sanmen Sluice River, south of the Yao Wang Port along the section from Hengxing to Huaben in Sanyu Town, Tongzhouwan Demonstration Zone. It is a cultural heritage site protected at the municipal level by Nantong City.

Protected area: covers the entire bridge surface from east to west.

Construction control zone: the surrounding area consists of water surfaces or roads, so there is no need to designate a construction control zone.

Sanyu Town: a town under the jurisdiction of Tongzhou City. In 1957, it was known as Xinyu Township, renamed Sanyu Commune in 1958, changed back to township in 1983, and in 1984, the township and town were merged to establish Sanyu Town. Located in the northeastern part of the city, it is 30 kilometers from the municipal government. The town covers an area of 40.4 square kilometers with a population of 38,000. Provincial Highway Jueqing and JinSan Highway intersect within the town, and Tuanjie River crosses with Sanyu Vertical River.
