Memorial Hall of Gao Ershi
Gao Ershi (1903–1977): A renowned calligrapher of his time, hailing from Xiaodianzhi in Xingtai Township. In the art of calligraphy, he masterfully blended Zhangcao, Jincao, and Kuangcao styles, creating fluid and naturally flowing scripts with an extraordinary flair. He also excelled in the study of classics and history, authoring works such as *Collected Writings of Liu Yuxi: A Critical Edition* and *Newly Compiled Jijiu Zhang with Exegesis*. His essay *Refutation on the Authenticity of the Orchid Pavilion Preface* drew attention from Chairman Mao Zedong, becoming a widely celebrated anecdote in literary circles both in China and abroad.
