Heheng Village

Heheng Village is under the jurisdiction of Shengao Town, Jiangyan City, Jiangsu Province. It is just across a river from the national 4A-level Qinhu Lake Scenic Area and the historic and cultural town of Qinhuang, both recognized nationally. In 2002, the village became one of Jiangsu Province’s first pilot units for agricultural circular economy and a provincial environmental education base. In the past two years, it has attracted over 50 million yuan in domestic and private investment for agricultural tourism projects. Since its trial opening in 2003, Heheng Village’s eco-agricultural tourism has received more than 600,000 domestic and international visitors, with over 300,000 visitors alone in 2005.
