The Scenery of Crane Bay is located in the central area of Taixing City, stretching narrowly from north to south over several miles. Within the area are attractions such as Jiashu Garden from the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, the former Xibu Pond of Guangfu Temple, Kuige Pavilion, Pan Pond, Dacheng Hall, the ancient Yanling Village, the former Taixing People's Park, the former residence of Zhu Dongrun, and Little South China Sea. Pavilions, corridors, terraces, and towers are interspersed among green trees, bamboo groves, and flower clusters; the crane scenery possesses enchanting charm.

Crane Bay derives its name from the cranes, which gather in the water bay, symbolizing good fortune. The Crane Bay Scenic Belt stretches approximately 290 meters from north to south, starting from the ancient "Brush Rack" memorial archway on Gulou East Road in the north and ending at Guoqing East Road in the south. It is about 110 meters wide at its broadest point from east to west, with the inner city river serving as its central axis, forming a long and narrow belt-like area covering a total land area of about 27,000 square meters. The design of the Crane Bay Scenic Belt fully considers the behavioral characteristics of modern citizens, meeting their diverse needs for leisure and sightseeing in an urban landscape. It makes full use of the characteristics of the water body to recreate natural scenery, satisfying people’s innate desire to be close to nature and water. Furthermore, it respects the historical and cultural features, enhances historical and cultural significance, and caters to citizens’ nostalgia for local heritage.
