The Taixing City Cultural Expo Center is one of the city’s ten key projects, covering an area of approximately 18,000 square meters, with a total construction area of 8,351 square meters — including 5,003 square meters above ground and 3,348 square meters underground. It stretches 120 meters from east to west and 170 meters from north to south. The total investment exceeds 80 million yuan.

The Taixing City Cultural Expo Center is built on the foundation of reconstructing and restoring the old county yamen, reviving the historical appearance of the ancient government office. It houses three museums: the Museum, the Celebrity Hall, and the Planning Exhibition Hall. With a focus on the people, objects, and city of Taixing, it integrates the city’s evolution, historical figures, cultural heritage, museum collections, modern urban landscape, and future development vision. It fully showcases Taixing’s profound cultural roots and modern civilization.

The Celebrity Hall highlights exemplary individuals, showcasing outstanding Taixing talents who ventured out from their hometown and achieved great success. These are figures who made remarkable contributions and had significant influence in politics, military affairs, economics, science and technology, culture, and other fields, using Taixing as their stage. It interprets the relationship between these notable individuals and the city, presents the city’s image from multiple perspectives, serves as a base for patriotic education, and acts as a platform to promote the spirit of “Virtue and Openness, Striving for Prosperity.”

The Museum features a rich and diverse array of exhibits and combines real artifacts with imaginative presentation techniques, embodying the idea of “broad knowledge and understanding of past and present.” It displays the wide range of Taixing’s cultural heritage, using these as evidence of the city’s development and evolution. It serves as a window for serving social development, inheriting historical culture, and promoting Taixing.

The Urban Planning Exhibition Hall comprehensively documents the footsteps of Taixing’s urban development, showcases the process of its evolution, expresses the vision for the city’s future construction, and conveys information about urban planning. It is a vital tool for centrally presenting the city’s image, advancing transparent government planning, promoting urban marketing, and realizing the city’s value.

The three halls within the Taixing City Cultural Expo Center form a unified whole. Their displays are both comprehensive and concise, focused yet non-repetitive, striving to uncover Taixing’s cultural roots and unique urban characteristics. They condense history, highlight the iconic, showcase the modern, and depict the future, making the center a window into the evolution of Taixing’s urban development (past, present, and future). It allows audiences of all backgrounds and social strata to “get to know, experience, and bless Taixing” in one stop.
