Tangqiao Park

The greening project of Tangqiao Park is located along Dongfang Road adjacent to Zhangjiabang, covering a total green area of 18,000 square meters. The project primarily features major tree species such as camphor, cedar, and magnolia to form the main landscape, complemented by various small trees, shrubs, and ground cover plants to create a scenic environment. The park not only has spacious squares but also serene forest paths shaded by trees.

The park also features wetland and aquatic plants, including nearly dozens of varieties such as reeds, water lilies, lotus flowers, hostas, water celery, and aquatic forget-me-nots.

The park’s water bodies are connected to Zhangjiabang, allowing boats to travel in and out. Forest paths are linked to wooden boardwalks, winding bridges, and arched bridges over the water. The park also includes garden ornaments and a teahouse, all designed in simple and elegant architectural styles that blend harmoniously with the surrounding environment.
