The Shanghai Maglev Transportation Science and Technology Museum serves as a science education base.

The Shanghai Maglev Demonstration Operation Line is currently the world's first and only commercial maglev train line in operation. It runs from Longyang Road Station in the west to Pudong International Airport in the east, covering a distance of 30 kilometers in just 8 minutes. With a top speed of 431 km/h, it holds the Guinness World Record as the "world's fastest land transportation vehicle today."

The Shanghai Maglev Transportation Science and Technology Museum is located on the ground floor of Longyang Road Maglev Station and covers an area of over 1,000 square meters. The exhibition hall is divided into four major sections: "The Birth of Maglev," "The Shanghai Maglev Line," "Exploring Maglev," and "Advantages of Maglev." The layout is compact and the content is rich, featuring many interactive exhibits, simulation models, and real components, allowing visitors to experience the technological marvel of maglev in an engaging environment.
