Established in 1990, it was the first 18-hole international-standard golf course in Shanghai and even the East China region. Located by the scenic Dianshan Lake, the course spans 1.03 million square meters and is about a 30-minute drive from downtown.

The course was designed by world-renowned American golf course architect Robert Trent Jones II. With a total length of 7,025 yards and a par of 72, the entire course lies adjacent to Dianshan Lake, fully showcasing the natural beauty of the Yangtze River Delta. The expansive fairways, strategically placed risk-reward lakes, meticulously arranged bunkers, and challenging green approaches attract countless golf enthusiasts from China and abroad. It has been praised by experts as one of the most challenging golf courses.

The club’s main clubhouse is a building designed in the style of a 19th-century British country cottage. The exterior bricks and tiles are finely crafted using traditional methods, adding to the refined elegance and charm of the clubhouse. Inside, the clubhouse offers a full range of facilities including a lobby, specialty shops, bar, restaurants, reading room, billiard room, and sauna. Additionally, three tennis courts and a second clubhouse built in 1996, which houses guest rooms, restaurants, an indoor swimming pool, and a game room, provide family members of members with a place for recreation and leisure. In addition to the 18-hole international-standard golf course, there is also a 3-hole practice course for beginners, a driving range, and a putting green, along with professional instructors offering lessons and guidance.

The club organizes monthly tournaments such as the Monthly Cup, Opening Cup, President’s Cup, and Club Cup, serving as a bond for members to socialize through golf, improve their skills, strengthen relationships, and enjoy recreational fitness. With the development of tourism resources in the ancient town of Zhujiajiao, the nearby large-scale youth activity base—Oriental Land—as well as the opening of a direct highway from downtown to Zhujiajiao, all contribute to convenient transportation and a pleasant environment for players to enjoy golfing and leisure vacations.
