The “Fall in Love with Southern Taiwan” Travel Passport, launched by the Southern Taiwan Joint Services Center of the Executive Yuan, integrates tourism resources from eight counties and cities in Southern Taiwan. It features five themed travel itineraries that cover must-visit attractions and must-try delicacies in Southern Taiwan. Traveling as a pair comes with many free benefits, including free second nights at star-rated hotels, dining deals with spend thresholds, and more. A wide range of food, fun, and activities are offered at unbeatable prices, letting visitors experience the warm hospitality of Southern Taiwan.

The spring/summer edition of the “Fall in Love with Southern Taiwan” Travel Passport uses the themes of “ocean,” “religion,” “forest,” “heritage,” and “metropolis” to link together must-visit spots across Southern Taiwan. With a weekend-getaway concept, it offers itineraries ranging from 2 to 5 days. Travelers can then refer to the themed sections at the back — such as “Selected Hotels,” “Love to Eat in Southern Taiwan,” “Shopping Districts,” and “Souvenir Shopping” — to find information on accommodation, dining, shopping, and gifts, making the trip richer and more relaxing.
The Travel Passport has also gathered major tourism operators across Southern Taiwan to offer free perks for travelers in pairs. Star-rated hotel deals include: Second night free at Grand Park Hotel Kaohsiung, plus complimentary breakfast, a Cantonese-style dinner, and an upgrade to a fashionable room worth NT$6,600; second night free at Chung Hsin Hotel Kaohsiung; second night free at Evergreen Laurel Hotel Tainan; second night free for two guests at NICE Prince Hotel Chiayi; stay at Wangmen Grand Hotel in BaoLai Hot Springs for NT$1,800 (including breakfast), with the second night free and breakfast included; second night free at Starry Bay Hotel Penghu; and second night just NT$1 for extended stays at Cambridge Hotel chain in Tainan City.

Dining discounts: Two diners at Hot Pot King Café in Kaohsiung receive a free NT$280 signature “Seafood Tofu Pot”; Black River Japanese Steakhouse offers a special price of NT$390 for two people, with the second steak free; spending over a certain amount at Tainan’s Chih] Danzai Noodles gets you a free golden fried shrimp roll, among others. Additionally, the Taiwan Salt Museum offers free entry for the second person, Green Ying Ranch provides free entry for two, and more zero-cost perks are detailed in the Travel Passport.
In addition to exclusive coupons for pairs, the spring/summer edition of the “Fall in Love with Southern Taiwan” Travel Passport also includes various discount vouchers from 154 operators across the southern eight counties and cities. Starting now, you can pick up the passport at Flying Horse Travel Agency counters in highway service areas managed by the National Freeway Bureau, as well as at the Taipei, Taoyuan, Taichung, Tainan, and Zuoying stations of the High-Speed Rail; at major Taiwan Railway stations such as Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung; at the Tourism Bureau’s visitor centers; at the Kaohsiung International Airport Passenger Service Center; and at the Traffic Radio Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung stations.
