Shanghai Dreamland Herb Farm

Dreamland is located in Xingguang Village, Zhujiajiao Town, Qingpu District, Shanghai. The first phase covers an area of approximately 26 hectares (400 acres), primarily planned for herb cultivation, seedling sales, and rural sightseeing and leisure.

Currently, the park has introduced over 200 varieties of herbs, including thyme, rosemary, sage, English mint, basil, and more, and has a seedling base guided, demonstrated, and cultivated by experts who have returned from the United States. With lavender fields and colorful flower hills as its main highlights, complemented by seasonal plantings, the green fields stretch continuously from spring to autumn; when the flowers bloom, they present a vibrant spectrum of colors and rich fragrances. Even in the depths of winter, the lavender greenhouse continues to cultivate rare herb varieties seldom seen in China, making it the first truly green, environmentally friendly, and pollution-free organic herb production base in all of China. The farm also aims to surpass Japan’s Furano Farm, aspiring to rival the beauty of Provence in France.

At the entrance of Dreamland, there are seven purple, rainbow-shaped arched gates, known as the “Path of Seven Emotions.” These “Seven Emotions” represent the seven human feelings: love, wisdom, luck, courage, beauty, happiness, health, satisfaction, and eternity. Through seven different experiential pathways symbolizing these emotions, various types of herbs, essential oils, and fragrances are used to evoke subtle emotional experiences, allowing visitors to cleanse their souls through color and aroma.
