Covers five categories including children’s retail, children’s entertainment, children’s experiences, family dining, and parent-child cultural and creative souvenirs, interconnected internally through 16 major themed zones. Includes a 300-seat children’s performance theater, a music, arts, and fitness training center, a 5,000-square-meter outdoor training camp, a rooftop pet park, a Happy Farm, the Yuanzu Enlightenment Park, a 7,000-square-meter next-generation children’s career experience center (Version 3.0), a children’s theme hotel, the SMG Shanghai Film Art Center cinema, a Shanghai Animation Film Studio experience center, and a Giant Bicycles experience center.

The “Shanghai Yuanzu Dream World Project” is located at No. 6088, Jiasong Middle Road, Zhaoxiang Exit, Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway, Qingpu District, Shanghai, with a total construction area of 150,000 square meters. The project consists of a commercial and business center, a hotel, and a commercial district. It is China’s first multifunctional shopping mall centered on parenting, entertainment, experience, and interaction, as well as a one-stop experiential shopping center that accommodates both consumption and children’s growth. Construction is planned to start in March 2016, with completion expected by the end of 2018.

The “Shanghai Yuanzu Dream World Project” was designed by world-renowned architect Tadao Ando. Ando pursues architectural concepts of “harmonious coexistence between humans and nature” and “green environmentalism.” In this project, he has integrated traditional Chinese architectural approaches such as “unity of heaven, earth, and humanity” and “round sky and square earth” into a modern commercial building, creating a uniquely shaped and innovatively designed architectural masterpiece.
