The Zhaoxiang Town Community Cultural Activity Center serves as a patriotic education base.

The Zhaoxiang Town Community Cultural Activity Center is situated in the center of Zhaoxiang Town and is a comprehensive community activity center that combines functions such as culture, entertainment, leisure, and fitness. The center occupies 41 mu of land, with a building area of 10,067 square meters. It was one of the 20 newly built standardized community cultural activity centers in the city in 2004, and also the first large-scale community cultural activity center established in Qingpu District.

The Zhaoxiang Town Community Cultural Activity Center is equipped with facilities such as a library, information center, gym, physical fitness monitoring station, rehearsal hall, table tennis room, theater, training classrooms, Youth House, Sunshine House, senior citizens’ activity room, children’s playroom, as well as the Songze Culture Studio and Songze Culture Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition Hall. Outdoors, there is a children’s playground, gateball court, basketball court, sports fitness area, as well as a small park, Songze Culture Sculpture Group, Yongquan Stream, and rest pavilions. Residents can enjoy a variety of “one-stop” services without leaving the community. Since its opening to the public in June 2005, the center has received over 500 visitors daily.
