Lvxiang Fangxinyuan Farmstead

The name "Fangxinyuan" originally carries the poetic meaning of "a heart yearning toward spring," and also plays on the homophonic pun "Fangxin Yuan" (meaning "Reassuring Garden"), suggesting that the hosts are simple, kind, and hospitable, so guests can rest assured while enjoying their stay.

Fangxinyuan is located in Longyue Village, Lvxiang Town, Jinshan District, within a municipal-level ten-thousand-mu ecological forest. It was first established in 1994 and registered as “Shanghai Jiaerle Ecological Park Co., Ltd.” in July 2003, with the total area now developed to 215 mu. The farm mainly grows flat peaches, kiwifruit, and winter jujubes, along with specialty fruit trees such as nectarines, persimmons, and orange trees, which visitors can taste and pick. There are also over 20 mu of ponds with clear water and fresh fish, available for fishing.

The paths in the garden twist and turn, lined with greenery and dotted with pavilions. The farmhouse restaurant has a 130-square-meter main hall and several private rooms, accommodating up to 150 people for dining at the same time. Guests can enjoy special farmhouse dishes such as Harvest Feast, Claypot Chicken, Braised Rabbit, Potato Braised Pork, and Claypot Rice Crust. The 250-square-meter multifunctional hall can hold 200 people and is equipped with projectors, sound systems, and other facilities, suitable for meetings and entertainment.

In the center of the garden’s lake, there are waterside attractions like Peach Blossom Island and Jade Island Tea House, where guests can enjoy tea and conversation. There is also a floating boat-style chess and card room for leisure activities. In the special breeding area, visitors can admire the graceful beauty of black swans from Australia. In the Tiangong Garden, hundreds of precious Buxus sempervirens tree stump potted plants display various unique shapes and artistic charms, inviting guests to appreciate them slowly. The functional fruit garden grows selenium- and germanium-enriched Huangmu Flat Peaches, which have thin skins, thick flesh, sweet juiciness, and benefits such as lowering blood lipids, softening blood vessels, increasing oxygen-carrying capacity of cells, promoting metabolism, delaying aging, and detoxifying for healthier skin. The product exhibition hall showcases Fangxinyuan’s three major fruits: "Huangmu" Flat Peaches, Kiwifruit, and Winter Jujubes; homegrown vegetables; free-range poultry from the peach orchard; and homemade rustic farm specialty pastries—perfect gifts for visitors to take home.

In the studio of Sun Yong, honored as an "Outstanding Chinese Artist of the World," visitors can admire the master’s unique calligraphy works. The waterside exhibition hall (on a dragon boat) features photography works by renowned artists from Jinshan, with distinctive compositions and vibrant colors that deliver a strong visual impact.
