Green Island's Sunrise Hot Spring is Taiwan's only submarine hot spring, and now a new spring of the same type has been discovered in Jinshan. The Jinshan District Fishermen's Association stated that the newly confirmed submarine hot spring, like Green Island's Sunrise submarine hot spring, is also a "chloride spring," with a faint salty taste, and has been certified and branded by the Tourism Bureau as "Jinshan Bay Submarine Hot Spring."

Most hot springs in the Jinshan area are sulfur springs, with a small number being carbonic acid springs. Last Friday, Jinshan Bay Hot Spring Hotel was confirmed to be a rare "chloride spring," the only submarine hot spring in the Jinshan area, meaning it shares the same spring quality as Green Island's Sunrise Hot Spring. Currently, the Council of Agriculture’s Fisheries Agency, New Taipei City Government, and Jinshan District Fishermen's Association are jointly funding the promotion of Jinshan Bay Submarine Hot Spring. Located within Huanggang Fishing Port, Jinshan Bay Hot Spring Hotel features luxury hot spring rooms, outdoor spa soaking pools, a large swimming pool, a party barbecue area, an egg-boiling zone, and a retail area, among other facilities, allowing visitors to choose according to their preference. While enjoying the seawater hot spring bath, guests can also take in the breathtaking sea view, gaze at the starry night sky and listen to the sound of the waves at night, or watch the sunrise over the North Coast in the morning.

Fishing boats set out from Huanggang Fishing Port every day, where you can enjoy freshly caught seafood. You can also visit Jinshan Old Street, experience paragliding, or take a boat tour to circle the North Coast, with an option to land on Keelung Islet—though timing depends on sea conditions, weather, and tides.
