Chairman Mao personally inscribed five calligraphic works here for the Provincial Party Committee, the Municipal Party Committee, and the Second Harbin Youth League Congress, reading “Do not be tainted by bureaucratism,” “Study,” “Strive,” “Develop production,” and “Study Marxism-Leninism.” Since the reform and opening up, the second and third generations of the Party’s central leadership collectives, with Comrades - and - at the core, have also made multiple inspection visits to Heilongjiang.
The memorial hall was initially built in 1919 and completed in 1923. The building is an exquisite European-style structure, notable for its unique architectural style and artistic features. With its solemn and upright exterior and luxurious interior decoration, it is an outstanding representative among Harbin's many European-style buildings. To commemorate the central Party’s heartfelt care for Heilongjiang Province, remember the glorious mission of the people of Heilongjiang, and inspire the entire province to uphold the great banner of Comrade -’s theory under the leadership of the third-generation central leadership collective with Comrade - at its core, thoroughly implement the important thought of “-,” and realize the provincial Party committee’s grand goal of “starting a second venture to enrich the people and strengthen the province,” the Revolutionary Leaders' Inspection of Heilongjiang Memorial Hall has updated and expanded its original basic exhibition into a display titled “Cultural Relics and Photo Exhibition of Three Generations of Central Leadership Collectives’ Inspections of Heilongjiang.” Currently, the Revolutionary Leaders' Inspection of Heilongjiang Memorial Hall houses and displays cultural relics related to the three generations of central leadership collectives who visited the province and inspected factories, rural areas, oilfields, forested regions, schools, research institutions, and other units. These include objects they used, precious photos they left behind, and their inscriptions. The exhibition preserves the original appearance of the workplace and residence of Chairman Mao during his 1950 inspection of Heilongjiang, as well as objects used by the central leaders - and - during their inspections. The entire display highlights the farsighted, pragmatic, investigation-focused, and truth-seeking working style of the three generations of central leadership collectives, as well as their noble sentiment of caring for the people.
