Regent Expands in Harbin! Partners with Huahong to Build New Hotel

On the 5th, Pan Siliang, Chairman of Regent Hotels & Resorts, and Zhang Hongshan, Chairman of Harbin Huahong Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., signed an agreement to manage and operate a hotel project located in Nangang District, Harbin, within the Huahong International Center under the Regent brand. Based on the current construction schedule,the Regent Harbin Hotel is planned to open in 2017.This will be the group’s fourth property in China, following the operational Regent Beijing, as well as the under-construction Regent Chongqing and Regent Xi’an hotels.

The Regent Harbin Hotel is situated within the Huahong International Center, a 400,000-square-meter urban complex located in the core area of Harbin’s Second Ring Road. The development includes luxury office towers, a five-star hotel, an international cinema, a top-tier private club, a shopping mall, and high-end residential units. Its comprehensive and well-rounded facilities have earned it recognition as the most comprehensively planned urban development project in Heilongjiang Province to date.

The hotel itself is a 42-story high-rise building, initially planned to feature 284 guest rooms, three uniquely styled restaurants, a banquet hall that can accommodate 550 people, a romantic wedding chapel, and 14 multifunctional meeting rooms. Premium urban resort amenities also include a spa with 10 treatment rooms, a large indoor swimming pool, and a fully equipped fitness club.
