The Museum of the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army is a classic red tourism attraction.

The Museum of the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army will be renovated and expanded on the foundation of the former Heilongjiang Provincial Revolutionary Museum, adopting a faux-ancient European architectural style. The museum is expected to be completed by the end of 2010 and, together with the adjacent Museum of Northeastern Martyrs, will form a comprehensive exhibition system that vividly and fully presents the 14-year glorious history of the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army. The museum aims to restore the true image of the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army and promote the spirit of the resistance. Its design will emphasize landmark quality, regional characteristics, and a sense of the times, making it a culturally and artistically significant landmark among Harbin's red tourism sites. In January 2017, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Finance, the National Tourism Administration, and the Party History Research Center of the CPC Central Committee jointly released the “National Red Tourism Classic Attractions List,” which includes the Museum of the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army.
