The former site of the residence of the director of the Harbin Middle East Railway Administration — located at No. 38 Hongjun Street, Nangang District, built in 1920. It features a brick-and-wood structure with a two-story main building. The stairwell is situated in the middle of the facade, topped with an open pavilion. The windows come in various styles, with smooth curved moldings around them, creating an elegant and dynamic appearance. The roof is covered with iron sheets, and the plinth is designed with block stones, giving it distinctive character. The tented sharp roof is organically combined with Art Nouveau-style wooden eaves decorations, balconies, overhangs, railings, and doors and windows, showcasing a strong exotic charm. It belongs to the architectural style of the Art Nouveau movement. The current former site of the residence of the director of the Middle East Railway Administration is now occupied by a KFC.
