Burning Mountain
Introduction: Burning Mountain is located 2 kilometers northeast of Laoheishan. It is composed of red and black scoria blocks and pumice. The crater resembles a broken pot scorched by fierce flames, hence the name "Burning Mountain." The mountain is smaller in scale compared to Laoheishan, with little vegetation, and has an elevation of 390 meters. The scenic area features a large expanse of volcanic "fumarolic cones." Fumarolic cones are among the world’s most precious remnants of volcanic eruptions. They are formed when gases rise during an eruption, causing layers of lava to accumulate.
