Ancient Volcano Secondary Forest Botanical Garden

Jiaodebu Mountain Secondary Forest Botanical Garden covers an area of approximately 200 hectares and is divided into areas such as the wildflower viewing zone, tree and shrub viewing zone, and comprehensive service area. The vegetation here lies at the intersection of the plant systems of the Greater and Lesser Khingan Mountains, representing a transitional zone from the cold-temperate coniferous forest region to the temperate broadleaf mixed forest region. Due to the influence of both old and new volcanic activity, the area boasts a rich diversity of plant species, totaling over 1,200. Among these are more than 300 types of wildflowers, over 100 species of trees and shrubs, and more than 400 types of medicinal herbs. Visitors can follow the driving routes to admire the plants distributed across different zones, while also encountering various wild animals such as black bears, moose, and wild deer that frequently visit the area.
