Lotus Lake is the first lake of the Wudalianchi Lakes, known as Head Pool. It is also the only natural lake among the five that has water lilies. It is the smallest in area, ranging from 0.117 to 0.187 square kilometers, with a depth of either 1.3 meters or 2–4 meters, and a lava bottom.
