The Iron Man Memorial Hall is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The significance of Iron Man Wang Jinxi to Daqing is self-evident. In that era when all industries were emerging from stagnation and flourishing, his tireless work ethic inspired an entire generation. Today, the Iron Man Memorial Hall is less a scenic attraction and more a spiritual sanctuary, where we can trace back to the highly typical, simple yet fervent beliefs of that time. The memorial hall is located at No. 8 Jiefang Second Street in Daqing City. It was newly built in 1989 on the site of the former “Exhibition Room of Heroic Deeds of Comrade Iron Man Wang Jinxi.” The hall displays over 200 photographs and more than 300 precious artifacts, which encapsulate not only the personal history of Iron Man but also a condensed version of the Daqing Oilfield’s history.
