Endless vintage scenes to capture – Yisang-dong is a must-visit in Seoul

Yisang-dong Hanok Village in Seoul has recently become a popular tourist destination. Although it is located in a historic city center, it was relatively unknown in the past. In recent years, however, many young artists and entrepreneurs have settled here and created highly individualistic cafes, restaurants, and craft shops, making Yisang-dong a comprehensive cultural space where you can experience the diverse charm of Seoul all at once. Yisang-dong Hanok Village was formed around the 1920s and features a unique architectural style that blends tradition and modernity. There are still residents living here, full of signs of daily life. The narrow and winding alleys may look similar, but each shop and cafe has a variety of uniquely decorated interiors.

The entire Yisang-dong area feels like a time-traveling photo set, with every corner and alley serving as the perfect backdrop. Among them, there are several must-visit spots, including Vintage Bonnie, Chabim National Hanbok, Light Western Food 1920, Unhyeongung, and the food street.

Vintage Bonnie
Vintage Bonnie sells a variety of handmade vintage goods such as clothing and tableware. One corner of the store neatly displays colorful and gorgeous tableware, while another is filled with retro-style clothing. There are also many cute and affordable items such as fruit-shaped accessories and animal plush toys.
